Nic Wong Nic has been involved in varying aspects of the electricity distribution industry since 1995 and has significant experience in asset management, commercial procurement, design and construction. He places a very high emphasis on the ongoing professional and technical development of his team. Nic is passionate about safety in design and innovative energy solutions that help with energy transition and decarbonisation. He has an extensive peer network and is well connected to the NZ and Australian Network Distribution community, with a distinct focus on innovation and the implementation of new technologies specific to electrical distribution networks.
Keith Scoles Keith is a senior technical manager with significant experience in the electricity industry, specifically in renewable energy. He has worked on complex renewable projects in a variety of roles, including hands-on technical work, project and engineering management and consultancy He has a broad understanding of the technical aspects of the electricity industry, and has been involved in setting strategic direction, capability building and mentoring and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Kush Maddumarachchi Kush is an electrical engineer with extensive experience in renewable power generation, transmission, building services, and aviation for a variety of clients. His focus has been on energy management and efficiency in buildings, where he has been primarily engaged in building services design and construction projects since 2014. Kush has been involved in various projects in NZ and overseas, covering feasibility to master planning, detailed design, tendering, construction and project handover. He is a strategic thinker, who gives particular attention to safety in design aspects during all stages of projects His skills include technical feasibility, initiation, and delivery, strong communication and interpersonal skills, project management and coordination.
Michael Hammerich Michael's background and experience as an electrical engineer give him a solid knowledge of New Zealand's national electricity network. He has a broad range of skills in assessment of complex data, technical design, asset management, and project management. Michael’s experience covers projects in the distribution, transmission, and generation sectors, which allows him to bring a holistic view to the initiatives he works on. His ability to translate complex ideas into easy to understand concepts is a valuable skill in this field. Overall, Michael's technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills make him a valuable member of the team.
